By Vision Reporter THE Kyadondo South MP, Issa Kikungwe, on Tuesday refuted reports that he supplied fake drugs. “It’s true I have a court case at the Buganda Road Court, but it concerns the ownership of a store at Nalukolongo. I rented out this store to Ayena Adong & Co. Advocates on April 10, 1999, where they were to store a number of things that I knew to include old clothes, saucepans, drugs, syringes and needles,” Kikungwe said. He added, “If I rent out a store, I can’t have responsibility of its management. These people are responsible for storing their things and removing them as they wish.” The New Vision recently carried a story “Kyadondo MP on fake drug charges,” which reported that the police had preferred fresh charges of supplying unwholesome drugs.
