By Edris Kisambira A sh10m borehole was on Sunday opened at Dorcus Children’s home in Nansana. The borehole, constructed with funds from the home’s Norwegian friends, was last Saturday opened by John Leak, an Australian pastor who visited the home with 12 others. Sam Mutabaazi, the director of the home, said, “Now that we have a water source here, some of the home’s hardships will be reduced.” Leak said it was with God’s help that the home had received a nearby water source. He asked the children to use the facility with great care. After the opening, the 74 children, including orphans and ex-street children, some of whom had been in Mutabaazi’s care for more than five years, thanked the donors in a speech read by one of the first boys at the home.
