The officials were responding to questions by the Justice David Porter commission investigating Uganda’s involvement in Congo which visited Lubiriha market and Kasindi immigration post about 2kms inside Congo on Monday. “It is untrue that UPDF soldiers have been forcing their goods through this border,” said a Congolese customs officer, who preferred anonymity. Three Kasindi immigration post officers, Ventus Kifue, Samy Vulere and Roger Kahe, an immigration officer, said business at the border was normal. Ends
