MBARARA — The UNHCR last week conducted a two-day training workshop on protecting, caring and assisting 172,217 refugees in southern and northern Uganda. Bushra Jafar Malik, the UNHCR public information officer, said “We are striving to analyse and improve the status of refugees, especially aspects related to gender and human rights,” she said on Saturday at Lake View Regency Hotel.
