League champions Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Sunday beat Luzira to open up a two point lead over rivals UCB.

Knights 2 league champions Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Sunday beat Luzira to open up a two point lead over rivals UCB. Grace Nsubuga settled for a draw with Bob Bibasa of Luzira in a game of Olympians while Stephen Opio outclassed Shadrack Kantinti. UCB held Kireka Knights to a draw, Kingslayers edged Kireka Vipers while Mulago beat UIRI. URA leads the table with 13.5 points, UCB and Kingslayers second and third with 11.5 and 10 points after four rounds. Meanwhile, Catherine Namutebi, Juliet Nakandi and Charity Nanteza made no progress at the Africa Championships in Cairo remaining in 10, 11 and 12 positions with 1.5 and 1 point after 8 rounds. ends
