Good idea!

SIR—As a citizen who values the developments in Uganda in the last 16 years, I fully support the article “Our lovely country is in danger of lapsing into chaos” which appeared in The New Vision on September 18. The writer was worried about the alleged rebel recruitment in Uganda. Indeed, if rebel activities are allowed to succeed, Uganda is bound to lapse into serious trouble, to its utter detriment. I liked the writer’s idea of a demo in Kampala, that war is the last thing Ugandans want. But it would need money and good planning. Josh Mutekanga, Kampala
