PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni who is on a five-day private visit to Britain has held talks with British Secretary for International Development, Ms Clare Short who called on him at his London residence.

By Vision Reporter PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni who is on a five-day private visit to Britain has held talks with British Secretary for International Development, Ms Clare Short who called on him at his London residence. Museveni and his visitor discussed bilateral matter between Uganda and the United Kingdom as well as regional issues. The meeting was attended by the Third Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. James Wapakhabulo and Uganda’s High Commissioner George Kirya. Museveni also received the chief executive of the Commonwealth Partnership for Technology Management and the co-convener of the recently concluded Munyonyo Smart Partnership Dialogue, Dr. Mihaela Smith. They also discussed a variety of issues. Ends
