KAMPALA – An Asian businessman who allegedly stole sh15m from the managing director of Asian Property, Suresh Ghelani, was yesterday remanded to Luzira Prison on charges of theft.
KAMPALA – An Asian businessman who allegedly stole sh15m from the managing director of Asian Property, Suresh Ghelani, was yesterday remanded to Luzira Prison on charges of theft. Arvinbhai Balubhai Popat, 62, denied the charges before Buganda Road Court Grade One Magistrate Lydia Mugambe. Popat, who failed to produce any surety, allegedly received the money from the defence ministry as house rent for Block 37 Buwalasi View Mbale and Plot 73/75 Gweri Road in Soroti.
