Thrown out! Who? Me?

I would like to comment on Tuesday's article by Timothy Bukumune concerning the Sanyu carnival last Sunday at Munyonyo in south-east Kampala. The article claimed that I was thrown out of the venue. This is completely false. I stopped at the security check point just like anyone else, and had no problem getting in. Interestingly, since I was “thrown out” and therefore couldn’t possibly have been there, how come later in the evening the same journalist and his video crew interviewed me? This is a minor matter so I don't want to harp on it. I just want to advise your journalists that they shouldn’t tarnish other people’s images for the sake of sensationalism. That’s cheap.
