FUFA delegate Mohammed Segonga is one of two new referees included on a list of seven submitted by Uganda to get 2002 FIFA centre referee badges.

By Daniel Saire FUFA delegate Mohammed Segonga is one of two new referees included on a list of seven submitted by Uganda to get 2002 FIFA centre referee badges. The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) emergency committee confirmed a list of 18 . Segonga, also players’ delegate, had earlier intended to challenge Godfrey Kisekka for the job of FUFA secretary. Segonga and Festus Kirumira, formerly an assistant referee, join Yusuf Awuye, Siraj Katono, Arthur Bukenya, Fred Kakooza, and Haruna Kebba. The assistant referees are Ali Tomusange, Asuman Kityo, Nelson Mubanda, Mansoor Kimumwe, Haruna Mpangire, David Katabira and Fred Wanyama. Ignored for a FIFA job are Fred Mufta, Ali Kalyango, Sam Kayondo, Hillary Kimbugwe and Yahaya Kitti. Meanwhile, a meeting between German technical director Guenter Zittel and FUFA officials is rescheduled to today at Lugogo and will also review the Meridian project. ends
