By John Eremu THE Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Prof. Mondo Kagonyera has warned private universities against introducing numerous programmes for the sake of attracting more students without matching facilities. Kagonyera who represented President Yoweri Museveni during Bugema University’s seventh graduation ceremony yesterday cautioned the leaders of such universities against passing out graduates who could hardly succeed at their places of work. “The leadership of these universities should not allow their institutions to churn out mere paper qualification graduates,” Kagonyera said. He added, “The expansion of programmes at universities should be carefully considered against the available facilities for that is the only way high standards can be maintained.” Ends
