UNIVERSITY Hall began their 2001 sports campaign in high gear when they beat minnows Livingstone hall 2-0 in the ongoing Makerere University Interhall soccer competitions played at the campus main grounds.

UNIVERSITY Hall began their 2001 sports campaign in high gear when they beat minnows Livingstone hall 2-0 in the ongoing Makerere University Interhall soccer competitions played at the campus main grounds.
A goal in either half by John Kizito and Andrew Odwel were enough to give the ‘Goats’ a winning start and jump to the top of the table.
Livingstone totally failed to impress and in the end paid the price.
Lumumba are second on the table after their 1-0 win over third-placed Mitchell. MUBS-Nakawa are set to organise a separate program.
