Asiku fights today

By Norman Katende and Phillip Corry UGANDAN professional Jackson Asiku takes on Arnell Baratillo for the Australian feather weight title over 12 rounds at Hurley’s Akbar Hotel in Adelaide today. This will be the main fight supported by six under cards including one where another Ugandan Muhammed Kizito takes on Australian Darchinyan. Asiku, though going up by two weights from flyweight is ranked second in Australian professional boxing behind Tony Wehbee and is unbeaten in four fights. Adam Kassim, the third Ugandan who is ranked 6th in the light weight category, will not fight this time round. r National junior lightweight champion Francis “Machoman” Kiwanuka (19-4-2) 4 KOs has been given another chance to fight for the Africa Boxing Union (ABU) junior lightweight championship in Luanda in November.
