“I expect the people of Lira will cooperate with my successor so that whatever achievements I realised can be consolidated,†he said.
“It gives me satisfaction and fulfilment that my services have been recognised by the President,†he added.
He advised the people of Lira to embrace the new RDC and utilise his office not only during times of crisis but also for development, political and socio-economic issues.
Arwata appealed to the people of Mbarara to enable him execute his duties successfully.
In an interview with The New Vision, he said his services to the people of Mbarara and the entire nation would be of great significance and an achievement towards the development of the country.
“Rendering cooperation will strengthen the unity of our people and foster development. I look forward to render to the people of Mbarara maximum service entrusted to me by the President’s decision,†Arwata said.
Joseph Arwata replaced Ngoma Ngime as the RDC for Mbarara.
