Bunyonyi Overland Camp gets facelift

By Darious Magara SIX executive cottages are under construction at Bunyonyi Overland Camp in Kabale. The project is aimed at boosting tourism there. The director, Ivan Batuma, said they were targeting to complete the facilities in December. “We have embarked on the construction of six executive cottages at the peninsular of Lake Bunyonyi,” Batuma said recently. When asked about the cost, he said it was an expensive venture. He said, “Our aim is to attract people who want value for their money. Bunyonyi Overland Camp is located on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi, which is the deepest in Uganda. Officials said the otter and cray fish are some of the foods, which attract tourists to the area.
