Teacher disarms thug

By Justin Moro A teacher at Alliance College in Gulu district, last Tuesday disarmed an armed thug, who was trying to rob him. Security sources said, Aldo Opira, disarmed the thug at Customs Corner in Gulu Municipality. The gun and 82 rounds of ammunition were taken to Koro army detachment. A source at Gulu Police station confirmed the incident but declined to give details. It said investigations were still going on and the suspect was still at large. Opira said he did not know how to use a gun otherwise he would have killed the thug. He regretted why he had never attended a political education course.
