It was a good day for the challengers, as A-1 Challenge also drew first blood against women’s champions Lady Bucks at Lugogo stadium last night. Jammers’ Godwin Khisa hit a game high 38 and showman Norman ‘Magic’ Blick added 27 points, had seven blocks and pulled down 16 rebounds as the Jinja youngsters earned the respect of Kampala fans. “I am happy with the team work, we made sure their big men foul out,” Khisa said. “The challenge is still on.” Power’s Julius Wapera had a team high 30 points. Josephine Namayega and Rossette Meyar spurred A-1 Challenge with 19 and 17 points respectively. Games two in the best of five basketball series, is scheduled for November 9 at Lugogo. ends
