VICE President Dr. Speciosa Wandira Kazibwe has appealed to the movement leadership to reward Busoga appropriately for the unwavering support the region has given the Government since 1986, reports Robert Kanusu. Kazibwe said this during the swearing-in ceremony of the Kyabazinga’s ministers at Bugembe on Sunday. She said Busoga had supported the movement system but it had not been rewarded appropriately. “Ife tuwereza akaibo kaiduvu era twenda tufune kaibo kaiduvu,” (Busoga gave the movement full support and expects to get appropriate returns) Kazibwe said in Lusoga. She hailed the unity forged by the various classes inthe region and called upon the once conflicting forces in the kingdom to forget about the past and use the team for the the development of Busoga. Kazibwe urged the people of Busoga to use education as a basis of development saying that the region had produced the first pioneers in the country’s academic history like, Eng. Zikusooka, Dr. Kadama, and the first vice president and Sir William Kadumbula Nadiope.
