FUFA president Denis Obua’s executive is infested with mice. The mice misled the soccer boss.
Federation of Uganda Football Associations former vice president, Polly Ouma, yesterday broke silence and lambasted Obua saying his executive is infested with mice.
“Obua’s problems were heightened by these mice. They operated in cliques and fed him on rumours,†said Ouma.
Ouma, dropped last week by Obua’s re-election team for poor performance, attributed his exclusion to this group.
“I have never been a failure right from my playing days to my times as an executive.â€
But, he did not name who the “mice†were saying it would be cheap to go personal with elections nearing.
Ouma however vowed to contest for the December 1 polls.
“I have big plans and my campaigns are positive.†He however did not reveal what post he is eyeing.
He qualifies as a FUFA delegate by virtue of being a member of the out-going executive.
Ouma was accused of flopping as technical committee head and of not attending matches to spot talent for the national teams.
But Ouma struck saying he was victimised; “that was a lame excuse. As head of the technical committee I used to delegate coaches and scouts.â€
He said that despite his efforts to draw up a developmental plan, he was never facilitated by the FUFA top leadership.
