As part of that commitment MSU is about to open a Centre and outreach Programme in Kabale to serve the RH/SH needs of that community. We are seeking applications from suitably qualified people for the following positions: 1. Medical Practitioners -Kabale outreach, Tororo centre Duty Station - (Kabale, Tororo) Fully qualified and licensed to practice medicine in Uganda, the successful applicants will have a good knowledge of general medicine, minor surgery, reproductive and sexual health-related medicine and procedures and a strong commitment to the rights of women. A team player who believes in involving his/her colleagues, both medical and non-medical, in order to provide client-focused services in an effective manner. 2. Registered Nurses / Family Planning Providers (3 Positions) Duty Station - (Kabale) Nurses committed to client care who provide a sensitive caring approach to the provision of clinical services. An understanding of and commitment to women's reproductive health rights is essential. Nurses with further qualifications in either midwifery, community health, reproductive health/family planning or STDs, HIV/AIDS will be particularly favoured. Able to work well in a team and accept multi-tasking in the workplace. One of the applicants for this position will be selected for the position of Centre Manager who, in addition to the above, will require managerial skills and experience. 3. Receptionist (1 Position) Duty Station - (Kabale) The person we seek will have a happy outgoing personality, able to relate to all levels of society and work well within a team of professionals. Some bookkeeping skills are an advantage. You will be well groomed and well presented and preferably have some understanding or prior experience in a medical facility. Again a strong commitment to gender equality and RH/SH is required. 4. Laboratory Technician (1 Position) Duty Station - (Lira) Able to work well without direct supervision and with a broad understanding of laboratory services, testing, blood collection, counselling skills/marketing, etc. 5. Driver Skilled drivers for 4WD vehicle with a clean driving record. As we undertake service to outlying areas a safe and experienced person in poor road conditions and Kabale terrain is called for. In addition, the driver will be called upon to assist the medical team in setting up the equipment, assisting clients and some communication skills, etc. Marie Stopes Uganda offers generous remuneration and the chance to advance your career in a world renowned NGO.
