A beggar with class!

A STREET beggar who operates on High Street in Mbarara surprised people when he was offered sh100 and refused it. Musa, is referred to as a beggar with choice. he refused the money from a white tourist. He boldly said he could not take sh100 from a Muzungu and the same amount from poor Ugandans. He threw the coin back to the tourist lecturing him that if he could not raise sh1,000, then to hell with his money. This scared the tourist who suspected the beggar was mad. passers-by who knew Musa’s habits told the tourist that Musa receives money according to the donor’s status. “He only receives sh100 from students, not the working class,” someone said. ends
