Kamuli LC5 chairman Hajji Kawoya Kawugu has urged local councillors to buy sleek cars from their allowances. He also told them to dress decently, reports Moses Nampala “Councillors, you should always dress decently and please don’t hesitate to buy yourselves sleek cars. I’ m aware of the fat remuneration package you are earning. Avoid subjecting yourselves to misery. You should be cheerful and smart,” kawoya said. Kawugu was on Wednesday addressing a council meeting at Malamu centre in Kamuli. Present was deputy speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga. Stephen Mubiru from Namwendwa was sworn in as the new district speaker. The former speaker, Paul Lubowa, left the post after being elected Budiope MP.
