CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION (CDC) Vacancy: TECENICAL ADVISOR (TB/DOTS (EPIDEMIOLOGIST/ TUBERCULOSIS TECHNICAL ADVISOR) NTLP and CDC-Uganda are looking for outstanding candidates for the position of Epidemiologist/Tuberculosis Technical Advisor. Minimum requirements for the position are: w Medical Degree or post-graduate training in TB programme management, public health, epidemiology or related field. w Minimum of 5 years' work experience in TB-related activities, including programme implementation and evaluation, epidemiology or public health practice, epidemiological research, clinical medical research, or related biomedical research w Strong clinical experience with TB and familiarity with the National TB and Leprosy Programme Duties will include: w Providing technical assistance to MOH, District and Local Health Authorities, TASO, AIC, and other organizations working on TB-related activities. w Designing, implementing and presenting TB programme evaluations, including analysis of data.
