NTC lecturer eyes Arua town seat

By Jimmy Adriko Nasur Okuti, the Arua municipality MP, has said he recommends Muni NTC lecturer and Arua computer school proprietor Charles Asiki for the Arua mayoral seat. “Though it’s the people to decide, I think he is the right person for the position. There are other candidates like the youthful Bakhit Juma, my councillor Adamu Tipele and Khalifan, who are also aspiring for the seat.” Since the June parliamentary elections, the municipality has been torn between the Ayivu whose Rastafarian parliamentary candidate Innocent Nyakuta, lost to Aringa’s Nasur Okuti.
