Toro prepares to elect regents

By Emmanuel Mulondo The Toro kingdom parliament (Orukurato)meets on December 15 to elect new regents for child king Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru. The New Vision has learnt that a special committee is already working out definitions of the roles, functions, powers and limits of the regents. The concept came under question in the recent Orukurato session that preceded the swearing in of Steven Nyabongo Rwakijuma as the new Omuhikirwa (premier).
