With the best-of-five series tied on 2-2, Bucks took the title after A-1 Challenge rejected referees Edward Ssendi and Emmanuel Samanya in the decider at Lugogo. A-1 Challenge players refused to play and Lady Bucks were awarded the game thus retaining the championship. The challengers feared the referees would be biased. Buck’s Peninah Kabenge said her team was also uncomfortable with Ssendi, but were willing to play. ends
