Citizen High School and Johnni Club were tied with six points going into today’s last quarter finals of the intermediate boxing championships at Lugogo indoor stadium.
Muzamil Nsubuga from Citizen High School beat Ibrahim Keya of Police in the flyweight division 3-0 to storm the semi-finals due tomorrow.
But it was not all a victory parade for Citizen, as bantamweight Bryan Yiga was stopped by Haruna Nassur of Johnni. Dragon’s featherweight Bashir Kasozi out-pointed Mohammad Basule of KBC to give his side their fifth point.
