By Kalungi Kabuye A brand-new $6000 organ will will be the focus of attention this Sunday, as the All Saints Cathedral choir holds its annual Christmas carols performance. The organ, a Clavinova-type, was donated to the church by the Bank of Uganda through its Governor, Tumusiime Mutebile, a long time member of the congregation. “We’ve not had a proper organ for a long time, so we are glad that the bank of Uganda and the Governor made this kind donation,” the cathedral choir-master, Andrew Zake, told The New Vision recently. Zake said they would use the organ to do God’s work during the 11:00am service on Sundays. The two-hour Christmas Carol concert, will be held in the afternoon from 4.00pm. “Having a proper organ will enhance the quality of our music, and I’m sure the audience will appreciate this, come Sunday afternoon,” he said. ends
