SEVENTEEN people, including a four-month old toddler, were yesterday morning injured and rushed to Mulago Hospital after their vehicles collided head-on at Kawanda, on the Kampala-Gulu highway, reports Geoffrey Kamali. Eleven of them were in critical condition in the casualty ward and intensive care unit by the time The New Vision visited the hospital at about midday yesterday.
