The northern region promotional super mini league that ended over the weekend, saw Rhino top the competition with 10 points overall. Kole FC of Apac was runners-up with seven points followed by Arua Young Stars. There were five teams in the competition. Apac's Adota FC were fourth with three points and Adjumani trailed with a point. Gulu United did not surface for the tournament because of administrative and financial problems. Gulu team manager Tony Kiberu said they would not afford participation fees of sh150,000. Ends.
