'Sensitise disabled children on HIV/AIDS'

Florence Nayiga, the state minister for the elderly and disabled, has urged the Government to sensitise children and youth with special needs as part of its AIDS awareness campaign, reports Lillian Nalumansi. "Uganda has made a dent on the epidemic. But you will concur with me that what we have to deal with is even bigger than before," Nayiga said. This was in a speech read for her by the Uganda Aids Commission Director for Planning and Monitoring, Dr. Butoro Nsabbabutulo, at the Aga Khan Primary School at the first debate on HIV/AIDS for children with disability.
