By Douglas Mazune MOTOR Sport Africa Club (MOSAC) stripped of the Total Pearl of Africa by the sport's national governing body this month have no room for appeal. Automobile Association of Uganda competitions committee (AACC) secretary Felix Odongkara yesterday said that MOSAC should have appealed within 48 hours. "They should have appealed within 48 hours, they are now late as far as the rules are concerned, I do not think it is proper to bend the rules," Odongkara said. "The procedure is very clear and they should really know the rules," he added. However, Odongkara said MOSAC's letter inquiring about how to present the appeal, was not necessary. "The letter was not an appeal. it was asking for advise. They should have known the rules. It did not state any appeal to AACC or AAU or wherever," Odongkara said. AACC withdrew from MOSAC organisational powers of the Africa rally championship citing lack of respect for AACC/AAU. Ends.
