UGANDA won two bronze medals as the Africa seniors table tennis championship ended in Addis Ababa at the weekend.

The display pushed Uganda's tally to four bronze since 1996 after the 1998 and 1996 editions. Mary Musoke and Mildred Senyondo won bronze in the women's and team events. Uganda's two top lady players lost to Ethiopia's Alem Taddese and Yohannes Workshet after a contested semi final game 3-2. Musoke and Senyondo had lost to Egypt 3-1 in the semi finals of the team event for the first bronze. Musoke had been Uganda's key player at past competitions. Ends.
