By Peter Ekarot SAUDI Arabia Football Federation has offered to fly Ugandan professionals to Riyadh for next February's international friendlies. SAFF has asked FUFA to give names of its professionals so that air-tickets are sent to them to fly directly to Riyadh for the February 2-3, 2001 international friendlies. FUFA secretary Godfrey Kisekka told The New Vision yesterday that SAFF international relations officer Andre Mtine sent a fax to Kampala asking for details of Ugandan professionals and their respective clubs so that air tickets are processed. "Saudi Arabia is thrilled about Cranes honouring their invitation, this is good for our players," Kisekka said. The FUFA secretary said Argentina-based defenders Ibrahim Sekajja and Abubaker Tabula would be given first priority together with Sulaiman Tenywa in the US with Pennsylvania FC in the Major League Soccer. The FUFA boss said he would also try to contact Livingstone Mbabazi, now in Dublin, Ireland for professional trials with St. Patrick's Athletic Football Club. "This is why it is very important for our players to tell the federation the truth about their professional contacts," he said. "That way they would benefit from this good offer." Ends
