By Leo Kabunga UGANDA Cranes will camp in Jinja for the African Cup of Nations preparations against Senegal on January 13 at Nakivubo stadium. The Cranes are scheduled to start a non-residential training on Monday until January 22 when they break off for Christmas holidays. Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) technical vice president Polly Ouma yesterday said he would prefer taking the team to Jinja to avoid any inconveniences in Kampala. FUFA assistant secretary Haruna Mawanda said that Cranes will re-group on January 2 after Christmas holidays. "We shall take them to Jinja Bellevue Hotel because it is a comfortable place according to our past experience. They have lived there before and there is no complaint," Ouma said on phone from Jinja. Nigerian coach Harrison Okagbue and his deputy Leo Adraa are set for the sessions. Okagbue said he has not problem with Kakindu refurbished training stadium where there is less interference from outsiders. "Kampala's problems should not be entertained any more if we are to have meaningful preparations," Ouma said. Ends
