Spear sues Century

By Hillary Kiirya SPEAR Motors Limited has sued Century Bottling Company for allegedly trespassing and erecting several structures on its land in Namanve, Mukono district. A civil suit filed at the High Court says the disputed land is comprised in LRV 1107 Folio 8 Plot No. M2 at Namanve. The suit was filed by Sebalu and Lule Company Advocates on behalf of Spear Motors Limited. The lawyers allege that on January 3, 2000 the plaintiff having noticed construction activities on its land, wrote to Century Bottling Company warning them against trespassing and erecting structures on the said land. Spear Motors further alleges that they wrote to the defendant requesting them to stop the trespass and erecting structures on the land. The defendants did not. Ends.
