AS the Army prepares for Tarehe Sita day, UPDF soldiers attached to the 301 brigade in Koboko barracks have embarked on a three-day cleaning exercise at Koboko Health Centre IV.
The exercise, which started on Tuesday morning, drew about 55 soldiers of different ranks. People looked on with excitement as the soldiers equipped with slashers, hoes and brooms swept the compound and slashed the bushy areas.
Major Saviour Ganizara, the team leader of the 301 brigade, said the exercise was in preparation for the 30th Anniversary of the army known as Tarehe Sita which is slated for February 6 in Soroti.
