IVAN Karugaba Junior, the former headboy of Seeta High School in Mukono, scored distinction one in all subjects in the UCE examinations.
Karugaba is a son to Harriet and Lt. Col. Godwin Karugaba, the UPDF deputy chief of logistics and engineering.
Karugaba is very happy with his results, which he calls a dream come true. “My dream was to get 10 distinctions and join St. Mary College, Kisubi,†Karugaba said.
He praises God in addition to thanking his teachers Milly Mugenyi, Deo Kagimu and Seeta High deputy head-teacher Jane Were for the support they gave him.
Karugaba Junior wants to study physics chemistry and mathematics at ‘A’ level and become an engineer.
“I am proud of my son. The whole family is excited,†Lt. Col. Karugaba said as he hugged his son.
“I always tell my children that the biggest asset we can ever give them is good education,†he added.
