Miriam Kadaga laid to rest

THE late public relations manager of National Water and Serwerage Corporation (NWSC), Miriam Kadaga, was on Tuesday buried at her ancestral home in Mbulamuti, Kamuli district.

THE late public relations manager of National Water and Serwerage Corporation (NWSC), Miriam Kadaga, was on Tuesday buried at her ancestral home in Mbulamuti, Kamuli district.

Kadaga, a sister to the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga, died of cancer of the liver at Kampala International Hospital on February 17.

The Speaker of Parliament, Edward Ssekandi, was the chief mourner.

Dr. William Muhairwe, the managing director of NWSC, described the deceased as a hard- working employee who helped in building the capacity of the human resource in the corporation.

The Busoga Diocese Bishop, Dr. Michael Kyomya, who led the requiem service asked mourners to turn to God . He was assisted by Bishop Cyprian Bamwoze.

The burial was attended by thousands of mourners, including ministers, MPs, the commander of the land forces in the UPDF, Lt. Gen. Katumba Wamala, and politicians from Busoga region.
