RHINO basketball star Matthew Kayonde, who died during a game, was laid to rest at his ancestral home in Bulo, Butambala district on Saturday.
Hundreds of mourners described the former national team player and son of former MP Israel Kayonde as kind and focused.
“I am definitely going to miss him very much,†his former teammate, Emmanuel Enabu, said.
At the same time, Team Koma outwitted Team Omony 52-44 in the second session of the inaugural Friday Night Lights at the YMCA in Kampala. Action continues on Friday.
