Ethics and Integrity State Minister Dr. James Nsaba Buturo has handed over office to State Minister in the office of the Vice President James Baba.

“In 2006, I was handed office in dignity. It is important that I leave in dignity. I have offered my best as a Minister and I I am grateful to God and the President,” Buturo said.

Buturo is among the nine Ministers who were affected by the Supreme Court ruling that MPs who lost in the party primaries and stood as independents were illegally in office.

Prime Minister Prof. Apolo Nsibmabi last week asked the affected Ministers to vacate office.

Buturo urged Ugandans to reject roundly evils of corruption, homosexuality and pornography and witchcraft.

“In the coming years, I am sure the President will act more against individuals that have chosen to become thieves through practices such as embezzlement, bribery and illicit enrichment,” he said.
