Ronnie my man, you absolutely look euphoric, don’t you?
Man, I have all the reasons to be ecstatic. I have always had dreams of meeting her and guess what, I just did (chuckles). She is gorgeous, man.

You flirted with her, didn’t you?
Dude, I could not help it. I’m not really that good with girls but for this one, I had to up my game. I totally liked her.

Why did you choose Laura?
For starters, she is a fine young lady. Any guy would want to meet her. Secondly, she is Juliana’s sister! I really wanted to find out if some of that finesse Juliana rubbed off on Laura.

What happened when you met?
Trust me, I had fun. Laura is awesome. I have a feeling it runs in the family. Look at Juliana and you will know what I mean. Now I know why Juliana is such a big star and why Laura is headed in the same direction. When she met me, she was so happy about the fact that I was her fan. She respected me. I do not think I deserve all that.

What did the two of you talk about?
(Inhales, looks around and smiles)….She told me about her acting and music. She is apparently a good movie actor. She gave me some DVDs of her new movie, Where We Belong. I am sure I am going to like them because now I know the actress personally. Since she is a happy person, I have no doubt she did well in the movie.

What did she say about her music?
She said she is as good a singer as her sister Kanyomozi and will soon go to studio to record her own album. But that will be next year after she completes the social works and social administration degree she is currently pursuing at Uganda Christian University, Mukono. For now, she is concentrating on making more interesting movies and avoiding retakes.

Didn’t you ask her about her love life?
I asked her about it and she played around the subject. I just knew she did not want me to go that direction. But otherwise, she is a great person and the kind of girl you would want to take home and introduce to your mother.

So are you planning anything in that direction?
Not really, but I cannot rule out that option.

Did you have any special moments with her?
Absolutely. There were a couple of moments that should not have faded but I could not help but let go. Perhaps my best was when she bought me lunch and literally fed me. Can you imagine a gorgeous girl you never met before placing food in your mouth with her folk? It was awesome. Man, I wish her all the luck in the world.
I know you can go all day but please break down the day for us.
Honestly, today has been my best day of 2011.

Whoever came up with this idea of fans meeting their celebrities changed the face of entertainment journalism in Uganda. Trust me, I wait every weekend to see who is hanging out with whom. Laura was awesome and I am sure we will make good friends. As for Blitz and the readers, you are the best!
