Police have put off fire at a city building before it caused severe damage and spread to other shops.
Police have put off fire at a city building before it caused severe damage and spread to other shops.
Business came to a standstill at Galilaya commercial plaza along William Street after fire broke out on one of the floors.
Police however managed to contain the fire. Business resumed after the fire was put off.
“We are so grateful to the Police for coming to our rescue on time. All our merchandise have been destroyed,†one of the businessman said.
