KCC have to avoid a hat-trick of losses today in order to keep fellow title contenders URA within reach.

Matia Lule’s credentials as a potential title winning tactician were recently put to question by consecutive losses to Masaka and Bunamwaya. That’s exactly why Lule has to pull off an away win against Simba today.

Lule is however confident that KCC has recovered. Two out of four of his key starters, who have been injured, will be back in action. “Expect a better attack with Brian Majwega and Bruno Olobo back,” promised Lule, who will however still be without Jimmy Kakooza and Caesar Sapeo.

But in Simba KCC face a very determined opposition. Captain Fred Kajooba’s side is not only hungry for a stake in the title contenders’ bracket, but also dying to pay back what they describe as a careless 1-0 first round defeat by KCC.
