Never did you find yourself puzzled, because the motives for her visit were crystal clear to you. If you shared the same bed, you drifted away into dreamland without sensing she was even next to you.
Fast forward to adulthood and the situation is now complicated. The playmate has evolved into the girl you are chasing and the games you enjoy have evolved. Your hide and seek is now played between the sheets.
To many men, the equation appears simple. When a woman they have been pursuing says she is coming to sleep over, they assume it is a sure deal they are getting laid
“By the time she comes to sleep at home, she wants to have sex with me, stop asking the obvious,†asserts Alfred. “Something you should know is that women are not straight forward like men, so coming for a sleep-over is her clear way of communicating that she’s ready to have sex with you†he adds.
“Unless you are ready to take things to another level, you have no business at man’s home. Such girls who say they are not there to have sex are just pretending,†argues Catherine.
‘’Guys have to read between the lines. I can’t tell him straight up what I want but when I spend a night at his place, he should know,†says Esther
The issue becomes more interesting as some men insist that women create situations knowing they will end up at the man’s home.
“She tells you it is late and she cannot go back to her place. What else was she thinking about the whole time you were together?’ argues James. “You cannot tell me such a person just wants to sit and talk,†he adds
For others, the circumstances determine the motive. Before you make your move, it is better to reflect on the circumstances that actually led her to your house.
“There was a time I took a girl out and we found her hostel gate locked. There was no way I was going to leave her on her own and I did not expect anything from her,†John says.
“It depends on the situation. If you made it clear to her that you want to have sex and she decides to sleep at your house, do the maths,†he adds.
To others, it goes beyond sex but the fact that trust is developing in the relationship.
“When a woman decides to sleep at my place, it is a sign she trusts me and to me, that is more important than sex. Sometimes, a girl can just be lonely and she needs to be with someone she trusts,†says Daniel.
