Vision gives books to 35 USE schools

THE Vision Group has donated 1925 textbooks to 35 Universal Secondary Education schools in western region. Each school received fifty five books.

THE Vision Group has donated 1925 textbooks to 35 Universal Secondary Education schools in western region. Each school received fifty five books.

The programme is aimed at promoting education standards in the country. Radio west marketing manager, Alex Mugarura said 17 schools received books last week at a function presided over by Radio West’s programs manager Suleiman Tuguragara Matojo.

Tuguragara said the programme is part of company’s corporate social responsibility and it was also part of company’s commemoration of 25 years in existence.

The benefiting schools were drowned from Mbarara, Bushenyi, Rubirizi, Buhweju, Mitooma, Rukungiri, Isingiro, Ntungamo, Kabale, Fort Portal, Kasese, Kisoro, Kanungu, Kiruhura and Ibanda districts.

Rev.Jackson Rutosha, the headmaster of Muko High school from Kabale district received 55 textbooks on Tuesday this week.
