A Toto Magazine soccer clinic for holiday makers started yesterday with over 20 kids attending the first session at Kampala City High School ground.

The group attended training under the watchful eyes of former Cranes Internationals Godfrey Mugisha, Steven Bogere, Emma Mugisha, Bright Dhaira and Morley Byekwaso.

Toto editor, Auntie Jovita Ajuna advised the kids to pay attention to what they were being taught and aspire to become future stars both locally and internationally.

‘‘You’re here to learn football with these coaches please make sure you listen and learn from them as you enjoy yourselves,’’ Ajuna said.

In the first session the excited kids were taken through basics of ball passing, shooting, juggling, heading and dribbling and speed work with and without the ball on top of other fun interactive games.

They will attend training every Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to midday for three weeks at City High School play grounds.

Godfrey Mugisha one of the coaches said these activities will be repeated in the second week before introduction to other activities.

He said the training they are offering the children is not an academy based one but one where kids learn the basics of the game through fun activities.

To join the clinic one is required to fill and cut out the entry coupon in Toto Magazine, a New Vision kids title every Wednesday and send it to the Children’s Editor. Qualifying entrants will be contacted to attend there after.
