The level of studies is at Masters’. The subjects are MA in development, A and M Econ in development studies and Masters in Public administration.

To be eligible, you must have an excellent academic record and be a full time student. Secondly, you must submit transcripts from your previous university and two academic references.

2011-2012 OFID Scholarship for applicants from developing countries
Qualified Applicants who have obtained or are on the verge of completing their undergraduate degree are invited to apply for OFID Scholarships (OPEC FUND for international development).

The applicant from any developing country must first obtain admission to pursue a Master’s degree studies in a relevant field of development, in any recognised university/college in the world. The winner of the OFID Scholarship Award will receive a scholarship of up to$100,000.

To be eligible, you must be between the ages of 23-32 at the time of submitting his/her application and must be a national of a developing country. Secondly, must select a subject of study that pertains to OFID’s core mission, such as economics of development (poverty reduction, energy and sustainable development), environment (desertification), or other related science and technology fields.

Malaysian government undergraduate Scholarships for international students 2011
Talented international students with excellent academic records and outstanding co-curricular backgrounds are welcome to apply for this scholarship and further their studies in any selected and well-established Malaysian university. The level of studies is Masters (postgraduate) and post–doctoral.

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must fit the following criteria: Not be more than 45 years of age during application, obtained a minimum of Second Class Upper (Honours) or a CGPA of 3.5/4.0 at Bachelor Degree Level for Masters Degree applicants, while PhD candidates must possess CGPA 3.5/4.0 or very good result at Masters degree level in a similar field of intended PhD study.

In addition, for post-doctoral programme, the selection will be evaluated based on the number of books produced, refereed/non refereed journals, portfolio and patent copyright. The post-doctoral candidate must have excellent reputation in research and possesses knowledge related to the research to be carried out.
