Romance Watch: Lomwe and Michael close in on Sharon

Remember Lohanni (code for Malawi’s Lomwe and Ethiopia’s Hanni), the very first romance to light up the house? Well, it’s no more – which is not news, really, because last week we told you they were on the rocks. Lomwe had given Hanni an ultimatum to choose between him and her people back home and she chose the latter.

Lomwe compounded the break-up on Monday by nominating the Ethiopian beauty for eviction, saying he couldn’t trust her any more.

And now there is something interesting cooking for Lomwe. Throughout the week, Lomwe and Sharon have been getting cosy, with him trying to get our girl out of her shell.

She is seemingly interested but not quite opening up (probably because she is committed to her boyfriend Ronnie Mulindwa back home). But then again this is Big Brother and she and that dude are going to be in that house for two more months. No one knows what to expect. For now Sharon and Lomwe are playing the come-get-me game.

The interesting bit is that Lomwe is not the only guy chasing after her. Remember, Mozambique’s Michael was smitten by the Ugandan lass immediately he lay his eyes on her? He has not yet given up. During the first week he pushed, but she was oblivious.

In the second and third weeks he seemed to hold back a little bit, but throughout the third week, after seeing Lomwe closing in, Michael re-ignited the flame. Now Sharon has herself big time attention.

Michael’s new approach has been of comforting her. When it emerged Monday that she was nominated, she went upstairs and cried bitterly, just about the time Michael got his chance, closing in and giving her a shoulder to cry on, telling her it’s inevitable for everyone to get nominated. And when she calmed down, he re-launched his manifesto.

So there’s your latest love triangle formed over the course of the week. If Sharon survives eviction, this will be the love triangle to watch. We will keep our eye on the screen for any more romances. The rest, as we gave them to you last week, are still going strong.

Tanzania’s Bhoke continued consolidating her quest for Ernest, making sure the Ugandan was hers and hers alone.

The other day she put Ernest to task to explain why he winked at Miss P from Botswana. She has sensed the Ugandan seems to have a thing for the Motswana and Zambia’s Kim. So now Bhoke is keeping him on a very short leash.

Kenya’s Nic and Zambia’s Kim are going strong. And much as Kim knows Ernest has a thing for her, she is not paying attention to it, seeing as Ernest has his hands full.

Miss P has her eye on Ghana’s Alex, but Alex seems to have fallen for just one babe in there – Kenya’s Millicent, who is away in the Heads house.

Alex is praying Millicent will join him in the Tails house, which doesn’t seem about to happen soon, as Millicent has not been nominated since she entered the house.

Her only ticket to the Tails house is if she’s nominated but survives eviction with just enough votes to send her to the other house.
