Mityana chief, councillors swear in

MITYANA district chairperson Deborah Kyazike Kinobe was sworn in on Tuesday together with the councillors in a ceremony presided over by the Mityana Chief Magistrate Agnes Nkonge.

MITYANA district chairperson Deborah Kyazike Kinobe was sworn in on Tuesday together with the councillors in a ceremony presided over by the Mityana Chief Magistrate Agnes Nkonge.
During a meeting at the district headquarters in Ddanya, Kinobe appointed Gabriel Busagwa as her deputy.
The councillors elected Aloysius Sserumaga as the speaker. Emmanuel Munye Munyagwa became the secretary for finance, planning and administration, while Harriet Nambi was elected secretary for production and marketing.
Kinobe pledged to work with the councillors to develop the district.
